    I've just started programming asm and choiced the masm assembler due to the easy api calls... :) I'v been programming a lot of languages (but I'm only 14 years) and thinks this oop project is interesting... When I've learned a bit more about asm (with VC++), I can write a better editor for it, probably in vb, that's my "best" language... :)
